I built HPE Networking Lab

This article contains footprints of setting up HPE Networking Lab on GNS3. It is the integration of running ArubaOS-CX and Comware on GNS3. There isn't much resources found on this topic when googling, thus I hope this article could be a source of reference for those who are pursuing the same objective. :-)

What is the setup?

• Host machine: Windows 10 Enterprise, 64-bit, 16GB RAM
• VirtualBox 6.0, version 6.0.18 r136238 (Qt5.6.2); filename: VirtualBox-6.0.18-136238-Win.exe
• HP Network Simulator, version 7.1.50; filename: HNS_7.1.50-Setup.exe
• VMware® Workstation 12 Pro, version 12.5.9 build-7535481

Note: this footprint does not contain VMware Workstation installation.

• GNS3-2.2.18; client filename: GNS3-2.2.18-all-in-one.exe, server filename: GNS3 VM.ova
• ArubaOS-CX, version 10.04.3000; filename: arubaoscx-v10_4_3000.gns3a & ArubaOS-CX_10_04_3000.ova
